A Babysitting Visit

While we were having a grand old time at the wedding and relishing a weekend away...Chad's parents were holding down our fort at home. They graciously agreed to watch the kids for both nights so we could be stress free. I was a bit concerned earlier in the week as Syd had started getting a cold and a few rough nights but alas, she saved those special nights only for her Mommy. Both kids slept all through the night for Gram and Gramp which was great...even if they did wake them up a bit earlier than usual. Gavin and Syd were spoiled and loved up all weekend which was a special treat for both them and Grandma and Grandpa. However, Chad and I would be lying if we said we weren't dying to be home on Sunday to scoop them in our arms and smother them with hugs and kisses of our own.
