Typically on Tuesdays the ladies of the Yonker clan hit the pool. The Tuesday after the holiday, the pool was closed so we hit the zoo instead. It just happened to be one of the hottest days of the year to date (go figure!). Nevertheless, we did some exhibits we hadn't done in awhile and came home TIRED from all the excitement...and the heat. In fact, my little kids were so flushed they had me second guessing my sunscreen abilities--and poor Syd crashed in the stroller on the way to the car, never even woke when I put her in her car seat. Sigh....it was just so hot.
