I Heart Firemen

Recently we had a playdate at a big park called Fort Frankfort. It has a huge playground area and a sand box. Well, unfortunately, the weather was a bit chilly and we even saw a few raindrops. The kids still had lots of fun playing at the park and to top it all off, the Frankfort Fire Department showed up to do some sort of training drill. However, while the drill took a small portion of their time, the fireman seemed to throughly enjoy entertaining our kids...peek-a-boo around the park, followed by pictures and tours of the fire trucks. They were so nice and so fun for the kids to interact with. After that, we headed back to Lisa's for lunch and more playtime. It was a great day to catch up with the girls and wear out the kids!

Okay, I am now jealous that we were not there! Especially for the firetruck pics. Looks and sounds like it was fun... can we do it again soon? :)
