The Highly Anticipated Elmo Party

Gavin has been "talking" about his 3rd birthday party for quite some time now. It was before we went to MI that I first asked him what kind of party he wanted and all the kid would exclaim was "MELMO!" I tried with gusto to talk him into Mickey Mouse or Dinosaurs or Nemo...but alas, he was having NONE of it. Elmo it was to be. We picked out invitations and talked about an Elmo cake and he just jumped and clapped and got so excited. Well...his day finally arrived. He was surrounded by family, showered with gifts and treated like a king. HE.LOVED.EVERY.MOMENT.

She already knows how to steal the show at a party.

Cousin love on the swing.

Gladiator Game Face.

Birthday boy loving his swingset with his cousins.

So glad it was ready in time for the party.

Apparently Gavin picked this balloon out that day by himself.

A very bizarre looking Elmo cake. Mom and Grandma Norton perusing the spread.
Gavin's two Grandmas.
Syd and Harry sharing secrets and carrots.
Let the spoiling begin.
Are you kidding me? Cutest birthday smile ever.
Papa Tom starts it off.
He's an old pro at presents now.
Brand new grill!
More cards.
His very own scooter and helmet (with a bell that was icing on the cake for him).
My little buddy taking a quick seat.
Party Pooped.
Let's learn the alphabet...no really, educational fun!
Birthday Hugs.
Lots of love in this room for our little guy.
Grandpa and Sydney...trying to hold it together.
3!!!!
The anticipation.
He thought he was a pretty big deal as we all sang to him.
Blowing them out!
Finally...the sweet reward.
3 years has gotten us here.....
