One sunny (but chilly) Friday, Lisa and I decided to take the kids to the duck pond for an outing. It happened to be Lauris' 2nd birthday so it was a perfect fun activity for her....and of course, fun for us to be out of the house enjoying it with her. The kids loved it and gave us more than one image flashing through our minds of jumping into the algae covered pond to save them....thankfully, that wasn't necessary. Can't wait to go back!
