Amalfi & Ravello (Day 6)

Our next day we took a ferry over one town to Amalfi. We explored the city and then took a cab up to Ravello. Ravello is known for its scenic views up atop the mountains. It was so gorgeous. We walked alot, saw beautiful gardens, enjoyed lunch in a piazza, walked holding hands, laughed at our cab driver, found treasures in Amalfi and took our (breezy!) ferry ride back. It was a great day together....again.

Our morning view.
Picturesque Positano.
Getting ready to board the ferry to Amalfi.
Five days in and finally relaxed!
This is Positano from the boat.
Love this view.
All along the Amalfi Coast there are tiny bridges and house built into cliffs.
Gorgeous.
We had amazing sunny weather everyday.
The Cathedral in Amalfi.
Cathedral bell tower.
All the churches no matter how big or small have amazing art in them.
Coastline.
Tiny Italian streets.
Bouganvilla everywhere.
Love this guy.
The architecture is so amazing.
Chad on our way up to the gardens.
Entrance to Villa Cimbrone gardens in the back.
Beautiful gardens created in 1905.
Entering just like Greta Garbo used to do.
Such a sanctuary.

This trip makes us happy. For real.
1500 feet above sea level.
My hands are sweating bullets right now.
You can see the entire Bay of Salerno.
Chad won't even touch the sides he's so nervous.

Taking time to smell the roses....funny, you can do that when there are no kids.

Headed out of Ravello.
Leaving Amalfi.

Back at "home" and ready to relax until dinner.
Ready for dinner at Le Max.

We are days into the trip and realized I wasn't taking any food pics - in ITALY!

Eggplant tortellini.
Complemented with wine....of course.

White fish dish? Whatever it was, it was good!
